Another "Big 5-0"

Our friends and classmates, Jimmy King (class of 1958) and Carolyn Ellison King (class of 1959), who now reside in Austin, Texas, had this good news for us to start the New Year:

And a Loss

I have recently received word that our classmate, Paul French Sincock, passed away sometime in 2009, due to cancer. He had moved from Utah back to California.   I don't know any other details as yet.  Our sympathy goes out to his family.

We started out the year with a great group. We were pleased to welcome first timers Theryn Waggener and his wife Zoetta visiting from El Paso, TX, and John Moore and his wife, Joyce, who live in San Diego. Hope to see you again. 

From the class of 1956 we had Betty Minga Brown; LuAnn Easterly Giegler with her husband, Don (class of 1954, LTHS , IL); Raymond A. Hacecky; David Castle; and Patsy G. Lilley.

I missed getting this picture on last month (my computer got temperamental the night before we left for Virginia), but it is good enough to put on here now.

Rey Vinole and his Italian dog, Bella, were part of the Gaslamp Quarter Pet Parade on Sunday, December 13, 2009. They stopped by the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation headquarters to have their portrait taken with statutes of San Diego's town dog, Bum, Greyfriars Bobby, town dog of Edinburgh, Scotland and 1958 MBHS classmate Santa Claus. Bella is bilingual. She began life as a stray who adopted Rey outside the Coliseum during a visit to Rome.
