The picnic will be at De
Anza Cove, close to the golf course entrance. Look for the banner and a bunch of
old codgers! (Quote from Ricearoni!) Bring your own food to the picnic and
whatever else you need.

HURRICANE KATRINA - MBHS ALUM SEAMOND PONSERT ROBERTS AND HER HUBBY DAVID were in the early evacuation process in New Orleans and are now in Tabasco Land, New Iberia ,only eight miles from the Tabasco plant on Avery Island, Louisiana. They have rented a small trailer for a month in hopes that they will be able to return home soon. Contact Ricearoni or Vicki Paul for more information. Dinner in Las Vegas with Vicki |

| Ted Higley was in Las Vegas for the International Conference of the Brotherhood of Carpenters in August. He was kind enough to take me out to dinner while he was here. He has visited some of the Bayview Terrace kids (including me) and other alumni recently so it was fun catching up on what our classmates are doing. |

ONGOING BAND REHEARSAL
A message from Rey......Thanks everyone for showing
your support. Please join us on rehearsal nights at the Vocational School Auditorium
next to the Kaiser Clinic off Midway Dr. on
Fordham St. for our rehearsal on Mondays 7 pm to 9pm. It’s a fun couple of hours listening to the
Big Band "Old Standards" And there's room to dance.
